Brendon's Storytime

PUMPKINS PUMPKINS

The boys had a great time carving there pumpkins. Hayden felt very proud because he got to do his own this year and then in true little brother fashion Brendon went outside and popped all the joining parts to the face out so now there is just one big hole! OOPPSSS! Poor Hayden.

We started going to the playgroup and it was really really fun...it is a great group of girls! I am so excited for Heather to come home so she can come to. I am really liking Emmett. I feel like I am finding my nitch in life. I love working with the kids and making great friendships with so many people. I never would've dreamed I would be doing all this in my life. I guess all things happen for a reason and you never just end up somewhere out of pure luck. Timing is everything! And I am so glad it brought us here.

Soccer is almost over so I need to get the camera there with me so I can post some pictures of our amazing soccer player! I am so proud of him this year he really broke out of his shell. Basketball practice started tonight but we have a concert at the library with Miss Elaine, she is Hayden and Brendon's music teacher and she is the most loving women I have ever met!!! We just love her! Hayden and Brendon are going to sing Johnny Cash songs and then play the piano they are very very excited! I will be singing a chorus of one of my songs with Roman. I hope it goes good we just started working on this one so we have only practiced it maybe 3 times. So we'll see. I am very lucky to have tons of talent and help around me though! I will let you know how it goes and record the boys and post it. It should be cute.

Brendon is in this new stage of talking none stop and he is the boss of everyone! He read me a book for an hour last night it was so darling I can't believe how smart he is. It was a baby animal book so he pointed to each page and said the animal and it is a very long book! He reminds me of myself I can clearly remember doing the same thing when I was a kid and I'm sure there a few people out there that can vouge for it! Well I better keep the day going or I will fall behind and that is NOO fun!

FALL FUN

I've been working hard at doing little crafty projects with my boys number one for great memories and it's really fun...I'm still very much a kid at heart..and it makes them behave much much better getting one on one time with mom and being silly together. The leaves were a great project that I found on the internet you could do this anytime but it is very pretty when the leaves are changing because there so colorful..so went outside and picked all the diffent kind of leaves you can find. You arrange them on wax paper fold it over and iron it to seal them all in...I found out from a friend you can do this with crayon shavings too which I think we are going ot do soon...sounds like it will be beautiful.

BRENDON'S
Hayden's
Mom's
We did pumpkins over the weekend we had gorgeous weather and then we made a big pile of leaves and jumped in them for a while I love fall!

We are going to start going to a play group today and it is going to be another gorgeous fall day so I think we will ride our bikes there. The boys love doing that especially Hayden..I figure we better take advantage of it while we can soon it will be to cold and yucky out!

LOOK MOM NO HANDS!!

Ocotber 14th my boy is 3 years 4 months and 1 day old and he is off riding his bike with no help! It really freaks me out...Hayden has been trying to get him to ride his big bike lately and today Brendon said mom I need my training wheels off. So we did expecting him to want them back on but nope! That boy took off going as fast as he could all by himself and he kept right on going....It scares the crap out of me!!! Granted there were a few falls but he got right back up and kept going like he has been doing this all his life. It scares me to think of what he will do on a dirt bike I better say my prayers now because that boy is destined for anything fast, dirty, and dangerous I fear. Within a half hour he was standing up and doing burnouts with his brakes in the gravel...(we were glad to see he did at least no where the brakes are he just hardly uses them LOL) and he is attempting wheelies...boy I think I will be gray by the time I'm 30!

storytime with Grandpa

I FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO MOVIES WHOOO HOOOO!!!!

ALAS THE MISSING CORD IS FOUND!!!!!

We rearranged and found the cord I was sooooo happy!! Get ready for pictures...we'll start with dad's visit! you'll notice that in almost every picture Brendon is right next to Grandpa or on his lap....he didn't wander far...it was very very cute. My dad put in our new bath tub which we are all SO happy about.

Grandson like Grandpa...they had lots of fun together. Here they are working hard on tearing the bathroom apart.
Grandpa had just arrived...and the boys were extatic....as you can tell..all 3 pretty much were!
The first bath in the new bathtub which they both now take about 3 daily. Can't say there dirty!
Me and my daddy. Hey somebody took my spot!
Grandpa's storytime..I have many fond memories of my dad reading to me with his great animated voice...He gave me a love for books and passed on the love to read to kids...this is probably one of my favorite memories of his visit. After this the boys were convinced they were going to sleep by Grandpa that night by after about 5 minutes of wiggling decided maybe there own beds were a little more roomy.
Here they are battling Hayden and Stevan in a the first round of battleship that Grandpa bought for Hayden.. I think he played probably 10 games with Hayden on his visit here or I should say started that many Hayden usually gave up after an half hour or so.
Here they are after a hard days work of being "knuckle draggin' booger eater's" they model it so nicely LOL! my dad started this little saying with boys and it is still going around the house.
bueatiful pictures!
PASSED OUT! did I mention how hard my dad worked!

MY DADDY!!! see the battle ship . we had an amazing visit and I am so thankful for every one of them can't wiat for the next!!

Well sorry it's been a while sense I posted...I kept waiting because I wanted to post pictures but I can't find the cord that goes from my camera to my computer so the search will continue...I guess that means I get the lovely task of cleaning out the boys room..I love my little house but there are days where you feel completley discouraged as you look around and want to make it better but there is just no where to go with all the stuff or any other way to arrange funiture (believe me I've tried every which way) so then you sit there thinking and getting nothing done..oh WELL!!! Today I really need to get this room organized.
Let's see what's new....we had a stomach bug on Friday with Hayden. Luckily it passed quickly and he was better by Sunday but now Brendon got sick yesterday but he only had a fever he never threw up. Which I am ver glad about because throw up is no fun for anyone involved. So I am crossing my fingers that he wakes up feeling better poor little guy. Right now he is still snuggled in his NEMO sound asleep..precious boy.
Hayden is doing great in Soccer he is staying focused more in the games and has finally caught up in height with most the kids...the age group is 5-7 which in my oponion is far to big but anyway when your a 5 year old and come into play with a 7 year old who has probably played for 3-4 years now and he's running straight at you and then knocks you in the face with his elbow (cause that's all the taller you are LOL) it is pretty scary. So we are very glad to be on the older end of things this year. Hayden gets to be the student showcase in his teachers weekly newsletter so when it comes out I will post it for you all to see he is so excited.. School is going good when he has a good attitude we have been having rocky spots lately that have pushed me harder then I've ever been pushed as a mother...(How do kids always know how to do that) (SCREEEEEAAAAMMMMM) okay I'm better now. We'll get through it though dad has had to have lots of talks with him which seem to helping. I guess nobody ever said it was going to be easy. That's about all I know for now and hopefully in the shoveling out of this room I will find my cord and can then post some pictures.

MY DAD

Well my dad is left yesterday...I was very sad....but so glad he got to come. My dad is a such a wonderful loving person. He loves me so much that I'm not sure I really can comprehend it all. It is an amazing feeling and I am so lucky to have him in my life. My dad is someone who can make the best out of all situations life throws at you. He is always up for a good time and makes everything he is doing fun.. He worked so hard the whole time he was here. He remodeled my whole bathroom. I love working with him because he trusts me to do anyhting and believes I am capable which makes me belive I can do it... and when it takes me a while he is so patient and just lets me figure it out. I just love him more than words can say..I am so grateful for the time we have and can't wiat till we can have more. I will post some pictures up soon and write more about the visit.
