Pirates, Pizzas and wood stoves

We had a fun filled week. My very good friend Heather who does the story time at the library had a pirate pj party. It was so much fun. The kids got free books, milk and cookies, and a great time with there friends. As you can see above the boys are there showing off there books and pirate gear with Griffon and Camden (Heathers boys)

Here he is making his pizza fly. You get to pick a silly hat he was the sheriff.
Putting on the sauce
And the cheese

Time flies

It has been 8 years today since I met the love of my life. I still can look at him and get butterflies in my stomach so we must be doing something right LOL! I can't believe how fast time has gone. It seems like only yesterday I was falling in love with a boy in the mountains. I couldn't be happier and I can't wait for the rest of our lives to unfold. 2 years later I became his wife and he my husband. We have built a beautiful family full of boys and love. I'm so glad I found my forever. Here's to many more happy years to come.

Belly Time

Wesstin loves his belly time. He is getting pretty good at it. Brendon and Hayden love it to. They are such good big brothers I am so proud of them. I know I keep saying that but they really do amaze me. They have interacted with Wess since he was in my belly still. I am just loving watching the bond grow daily. This summer will be so fun and busy with all of them running around.

cherry cobbler

Oh my gosh I was trying to find a treat to make for the family with our frozen cherries from this year and stumbled upon this great cherry cobbler recipe Enjoy!

Cherry mixture:
3 cups cherries(I put a little more probably 4 cups)
2 cups juice or water (I used water)
3/4 cup sugar
1 T butter

Cobbler mixture:
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 c butter
2 t baking powder
1 cup milk
dash of cinnamon( I used about 1/2 t + I like cinnamon)

Mix all cherry mixture ingredients in sauce pan bring to a boil.
Mix all Cobbler ingredients in a bowl (I cut the butter in like biscuts and then added the milk)
Spread the cobbler mixture in a 9X13 pan pour cherry mix on top. bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes (mine took a bout 5-10 minutes longer)

so so so good especially with a nice hot cup of tea.

this and that

Here is just a bit of everything. I love the video of my little Wess he is getting so much personality. The video of me singing is for my mom I love you mom. My friend gave me a rocking chair I am so so thankful Wess is finally happy most of the day rocking away. Brendon finished up soccer and Hayden started basketball so that is what we are doing for a while. I can't believe the holidays are upon us already. I want to concentrate on the memories this year instead of presents. I am going to get the boys each a sled and stocking stuffer s, were going to drink lots of hot chocolate and make Christmas tree decorations, caramel apples and gingerbread men and most important just be thankful to be together after all that is what it is all about in the end. Those are the things that will stick with them not the presents so we'll see how that goes I'm really excited to play with the family.
