Winter fun

YEA it is winter and my kids are loving it. I love it if I don't have to drive in it or anyone I love for that matter. Though I'm looking forward to spring I know every season has its time. and besides I wouldn't want to miss all the fun holiday things to do in winter or my little boy Wesstin's first impressions of snow, or my big boys jumping for joy as they put on snow pants to go play in the pasture. It's the one time in the morning that the first words out of there mouth aren't what's for breakfast. We also love being rosy cheeked and sipping hot chocolate with marshmallows. Stevan loves pulling the kids behind the motorcycle on there sled that's when we always know it's definitely winter now!

My wesstin is getting so big. I love watching all his little quriks and seeing how his mind works. He's a sweet sweet boy and I'm so lucky to be his mom. All by boys for that matter. Stevan and I are just so happy and so proud of our family. It's really fun being with the one you love and wathcing the family you made grow and flurish right before your eyes. It's the best thing for the soul I could imagine. I love that you have these people in your life that your building history with. Knowing that no matter what life throws you they'll be there.

This year we went up and cut down our own Christmas tree with our dear dear family friends the Vaughns. WE had so much fun up there. Anything we do with them is a blast. There a true treasure of life! I love this pic of Stevan he is such a handsome good man. He is my rock, strength and light in my life. I'm so glad to know he always has my back and would truly do anything for me and our family. I hope he knows how much I truly adore and love him. I couldn't imagine a better friend or husband.
Poor Norman our cow didn't make it. I will never try bottle calves again that was a hard heart breaking ordeal. Though it did make some fun memories.
Daddy pulling the sled. wesstin would not get off the book. He literally held on with all his strength everytime he would come around fearing mom would make him get off.
Thanksgiving was a great day this year. The boys had fun we had fun we talked about being thankful and just enjoyed family. It truly was what Thanksgiving is supposed to be this year. Even when family isn't right next to you all the times you wish they could be it feels good to think about them and talk about them. Makes them feel just a little closer.
This is baby Kiria. My friend Flea's little girl. We go the previlage of watching her the other weekend. She is the sweetest, dearest little girl ever. The boys had so much fun with her.

The hulk boy as we loviingly call him LOL This kid cracks me up. He has so much imagination!
I can't belive Hayden is going to be 9. I feel like everytime I turn around he grows up a little more. I'm so proud of him. He's very responsible and mature for his age. He's a great big brother son and person in general. Here he is up in the mountians the day we picked out our tree.
Sweet Brendon. He has such life and light in his eyes. He is always happy and has a good attitude. He is becoming a great big brother and is always looking out for Wesstin.
Here is Brendon's great find at our local youth ranch. We spend a lot of time treasure hunting here in town. I love that my boys are proud to save money and don't always need everything new. That is a very important lesson you need to learn in life and I'm so glad that get it when there young.
Brendon's new bike from Grandma. That is the coolest John Deere thing I've ever seen. It will put many miles on between the boys. They absolutely love it

One of my favorite pics so far of my boys. There first snowman of the year. Sadly right after this pic they broke it to pieces but they had fun doing it!
Brothers what more can I say! Life is good!

The boys at the teddy bear , p.j. stroytime of course Brendon was the hulk and Wess was somewhere running around. they had a lot of fun.

WoW what a ride these past few months have been! My dad has been here I have two new bedrooms equaling 576 sq feet of much needed living space! We should be moving in this week. My painting will be done today and carpet should be calling today to schedule install. It's been amazing to see the entire process (and being a major part of that process) of a house being built. I've learned that I now see why construction workers cuss. It is so damn frustrating at moments, I've learned sometimes it s best to just take a day off and let the project sit for a moment so you don't go insane. I've learned we have so many people that absolutely love us and I hope and pray I'm able to pay them back for all of there help, love, and support. Having friends like that just is mind boggling to me. I'm so blessed and I know I say that often but it's pure truth. I still can't believe my dad came all the way out here to do this for us. I hope to get back there soon. That would be the best thank you we could give him. I'm proud of my boys for toughing it out through all this craziness. there world has been upside down for a long while now. School has been done whenever it could get done and wherever much more at the kitchen table than ever before. I cannot wait to get back to normal where my list is back to dishes, laundry and schooling my kids. It will all be so worth it though. I can't wait to set up there school room and for it to actually fit and be organized. I'm just so darn thankful I cannot even express it.

I will have more progress pics coming soon. We had a great thanksgiving. It was so peacufl and we talked a lot about what we are thankful for. We played games with the kids. Grandma brought over a new Jophn Deere bike for Brendon which is now his pride and joy. Hayden got a game cube thing full of checkers, chess, parchisi just to name a few. He is also building a club house outisde I'll have to take some pics of it. i'm very proud of the kid. Next week we will start dewcorating for Christmas and for the first time I'll be able to put my tree in the living room WHOO HOO
Wesstin is ALL ABOUT climbing. I have had to confiscate anything he can push and then use to climb. We have found him on ladders and desks. DANG KID....He's having fun though. He's been a great helper and only spilled my paint once. i'd say that's pretty good for a 15 month old.
My sweet Wesstin is starting to talk a lot its so sweet here he is when he just learned HOT.

Addition

Well I have not been around here lately because we have been very very busy putting our addition on!!! My dad drove down here last week and is putting the addition on. He also brought along windows and has replaced all my old single pane windows with BEAUTIFUL new ones. I have the greatest dad in this whole world. We have also had all of wonderful friends in our lives ready and waiting to help. Pete, Betty and Levi came out last Saturday and poured our foundation once agian I cannot say enough good about that family. They are the best. My camera is broken so I have to figure that out so I can take some pics of this process. What else oh yes we have one bottle calf left out of 5. His name is Norman and he is a funny little addition to this little farm. Well I better get back to work there is a lot of it around here. Life is so good and our family is so blessed. I couldn't ask for more.

Wineries and hair cuts

WEll soccer season has started. We are getting plans for the addition done. My dad will be on his way out shortly to help build this thing and fall is setting in. I can't believe it. We have had a good summer though. I love fall weather. Perfect for firepits and you get to break out your jeans and sweatshirts, football parties are underway every weekend. (GO BSU!!!!) It's just a good time. We went up to ST Chappelle winery with Pete, Betty, Levi, Mellisa and there little guy Gavin Sunday. It was the wool growers celebration and it was so much fun!!! They had people spinning wool, a sheep dog herding sheep, sheep getting sheard and music. The kids of course spent most of there time in a irrigation ditch that was dry picking snails out of it. LOL they had a blast and I am now the proud owner of a jar of snails. Good food, music, wine and friends what more could you ask for. LIFE IS GGGGOOOOODDDDD!!!!

Wesstin clapping with his friend we found out here that he is VERY social.

They would shear the sheep and then you could pet them and get lanolin which is in lotion. Hayden thought that was really neat.

camping and cookouts

We went camping a few weekends back with Sara and Rob it was so fun. We went up to Granite Lake which is up by Mccall. the boys had a blast fishing and bike riding. It was so relaxing.

Last weekend we had our friends Kerri and Troy come over for a bbq with there three girls. The kids did a pinata, played with silly string, had glow sticks and ran around like kids should. There was thunder storms blowing through the whole night which made the fire interesting running back and forth because of the rain. Such good memories. I'm so thankful to have family friends for the boys to grow up with. We were supposed to be leaving for camping with them today for the weekend but Wess got sick so we are home hoping no one else gets the throw ups.
