My one thing that I hope for everyday is a moment of peace to take a bath. I really enjoyed this time while I was pregnant. Grab a book and soak the day away. Since having Wess this is harder to do. I now grab a few moments if I'm lucky while he sleeps for a bit in the evening. These can range from 5 to 30 minutes. Well I haven't even gotten 5 minutes in quite a while. My baby has been quite attached to mommy lately. Last night I said to myself no matter what you will attempt a bath. Wess went down .
1. glass of wine
2. mask for face
3. shaving cream.
4. fluffy robe
5. book.
I'm so ready and excited for a few stolen moments of pamper time for myself. First incident bath is maybe 1/4 full and realize the water is cold. My big boys took what I call a steam shower where they sit at the back with the water super hot. Thanks guys. Get over this. Get my mask on. Knock on the door I gotta pee mom. Okay come in. Son looks at you weird but doesn't say anything though you know he's wondering what the heck is on your face. Get legs shaved lean back in half empty tub take a sip of wine and husband is at the door. The baby's up. Quickly scrub mask off jump out of tub and try not to cry. better luck next time but I won't hold my breath.

Poor Terri! You should know better than to try to do anything in the bathroom by yourself! I mean, we moms can't even pee in peace, can we? That is why on the weekends, I waste WAY too much water...Steve is home so I know I don't have to take a 30 second shower, so I can't help but stand there in a trance! I hope you get to take an uninterrupted bath soon!
