The month of January

The month of January is almost over WOW! We've done a lot though. Stevan was laid off for a while so that was nice to spend a lot of time together. We mostly just hung out around the house. We made the cow pen bigger so he had a place to dry off we've gotten a lot of rain and it turns everything to mud. Muddy season is my least favorite of all but at least it usually leads to spring! We've been having a teaser around here of 50 degree days. We have been loving it. We've spent a lot of time out in the pasture looking at the grass and plants coming back to life, walking the dogs, doing silly races as different animals it's been very very fun! I love spending time like that with my boys. There such cool kids. Stevan and I have been remodeling the kitchen in our imaginations at night that's always fun. When you dream together it helps you grow together. Staying on the same track it a very important key to marriage I believe. I also think it is doubly important to be able to laugh together and be silly. We do that a lot around here as well. I love living with my best friend. The kids have been doing good in school. Back into the swing of things around here after all the breaks. It's nice in its own way. The goats are due anytime within the next 30 days. Were all getting excited. Boy with all the nice weather I feel the itch to dig into my seeds and start planning the garden, doing yard work and just being outside. I'm so excited to make our outside look nice again. We want to build a picket fence around all of our flower beds around the house so no dogs can get in them and they can actually look nice. Speaking of dogs Our pup Gunner is doing great. A true part of the family. Stevan's old dog Buddy is not doing so well. He is 16 years old and Stevan has had him for his entire life. He has some major health problems going on and sadly it is about time to say good-bye to the old fellow. I am so sad for Stevan. It will be so hard to watch him go through this. It just won't be the same around here with out Buddy but on the same token it's not fair to him to be suffering. I don't' think it has completely sunk in yet that he will be gone. So we have spent extra time with him just loving on him. ON a different note as you know I home school the kids. Hayden had a really cool science experiment yesterday with cornstarch and water. If you ever need a few hours of entertainment for any age child (including the big adults (= ) Just mix 2 cups of cornstarch with 1 cup of water and HAVE FUN!! It was the coolest thing we couldn't stop playing with it. ON TO PICTURES!!

okay so seriously the 3-D glasses were funny enough but when you add in the nerd tape around the middle it just makes it classic.

Uncle John and the boys playing Star wars on the computer. John, Renee and Rose came over the other night for pizza (which by the way was the yummiest pizza I've ever made) WE had so much fun!

This is our old neighbors from the subdivision. They came over and spent the afternoon with us. These boys have known each other since some were in diapers. So cool to have friends with history. They are such sweet boys.

My mister Hayden I love that inventor. He made a really nice bench for Wesstin (pictured below) I love that he always has his goggles with him for whenever adventure may come calling. Boys are so great at this age. I love the muddy pants( as much as I complain) the constant rocks and mis..stuck in pockets and the imagination that never stops. I swear they have more fun with a pile of dirt than any toy they've ever owned.

Classic

My littlest brother Gus and I on our last visit we met at the mall and had a great time as always. Gus is so mature for his age and I appreciate him so much.
